Piper J3 Cub Airplane Weathervane

🚁 Ready to Fly in Your Yard — or Become the Perfect Gift for an Aviation Lover

Hi, I’m Michael Carter, a retired aircraft maintenance engineer and lifelong aviation enthusiast.

For most of my life, airplanes have meant more to me than machines. They represent freedom, courage, craftsmanship, and the spirit of adventure. After years of working around aircraft, I wanted to create something that could bring that same feeling into everyday life — right in the garden, on the fence, or above the porch.

That’s why I started handcrafting these airplane weathervanes.

Each piece is inspired by classic small aircraft and designed for people who love flying, planes, outdoor décor, and meaningful handmade gifts. Whether you are decorating your own yard or buying for a pilot, veteran, aviation fan, or collector, this little plane brings charm, movement, and personality wherever it is placed.

Because each one is handmade in small batches, availability is limited. First come, first served.

Extra Protection for Outdoor Use

Since a weathervane needs to face sunshine, rain, and changing weather throughout the year, we use quality materials and apply protective coatings to help extend its life outdoors.

Before shipping, we also apply an additional UV-protection finish at no extra cost, helping the aircraft keep its color and charm for longer.

A Beautiful Touch for Any Home

One of my favorite things is hearing customers say their neighbors noticed the little airplane spinning above their garden or fence. Some even say it inspired others nearby to add a weathervane of their own.

It is simple, nostalgic, and full of character — a small piece that can make your outdoor space feel more personal and alive.

Limited Handmade Batch

Each airplane weathervane is made in small quantities, and because handmade production takes time, stock is limited.

If you love aviation, classic airplanes, or unique garden décor, this is a special piece worth adding to your home before the current batch sells out.
